Fort Worth in Flames: Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and Return to Dust Deliver a Rock Inferno

Breaking Benjamin perform

It was a beautiful Labor Day evening in Texas as fans poured into Dickies Arena in Fort Worth for a powerhouse night of rock with Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and special guests Return to Dust. Parking lots filled quickly, merch booths buzzed with activity, and the energy inside built to a fever pitch as the arena settled in for an unforgettable show.

The night kicked off with hometown heroes Return to Dust, whose fans were out in full force. Emerging from the back of the stage, the band wasted no time tearing into Black Road from their 2024 self-titled debut. With guitars swinging, hair flying, and nonstop energy, they owned every inch of the stage. After welcoming the crowd and proudly reminding them it was a hometown set, they launched into Shine, getting both sides of the arena singing along. By the time they wrapped their set, Return to Dust had clearly gained more than a few new fans.

After a quick set change, the lights dimmed and anticipation soared for Three Days Grace. Suddenly, a spotlight cut through the arena as the band made a dramatic entrance, walking through the crowd like prize fighters while Don’t Call It a Comeback blasted over the speakers. Phones lit up the dark as fans recorded every moment of their arrival. Once on stage, they detonated into Animal I Have Become, with both singers trading lines and working the stage as the crowd roared. “Let’s get this party started!” they shouted, before ripping into So Called Life. The pit erupted, voices joined in, and the arena pulsed with energy. The band kept the momentum going with a throwback to Break from Life Starts Now, before mixing in new material from their freshly released album Alienation, including Mayday and Apologies. The response was massive—old hits like I Hate Everything About You and I Am Machine had every voice in the building screaming along, while new songs sparked excitement for what’s next. Their set reached its emotional peak with It’s Never Too Late, drawing a deafening sing-along, before closing with the chaos of Riot. Three Days Grace left the stage to thunderous applause, having given everything they had.

Fans barely had time to grab food, drinks, and merch before the curtain dropped for the night’s final act—Breaking Benjamin. As their logo spun across the massive curtain, the anticipation boiled over. When the drop finally came, the band launched straight into Awaken, and the arena exploded. Welcoming Fort Worth, frontman Benjamin Burnley praised the crowd’s passion and led them into Follow. The set was packed with fan favorites, each one met with deafening cheers. During Red Cold River, the bass shook the entire arena—every growl and drum strike hitting like a physical force. Blood had the crowd swaying in unison, while Blow Me Away and other staples kept the energy relentless. By the time they closed with I Will Not Bow and The Diary of Jane, Breaking Benjamin had delivered a career-spanning performance that left fans screaming for more. The night ended on a high, with the arena buzzing long after the final note.

From the hometown pride of Return to Dust, to the high-energy spectacle of Three Days Grace, to Breaking Benjamin’s powerhouse finale, this show was a masterclass in modern rock. Fans hung on every lyric and riff, and each band gave everything they had. For anyone lucky enough to catch this tour, it’s one of 2025’s must-see live experiences—an unforgettable night that proves rock is alive and well in Texas.
