It’s that time of year again. It’s still winter, but with sights on warmer weather, we know that summer is near, which means Rockfest is just around the corner. While many of the other festivals that are a part of World’s Loudest Month have announced their line-ups, we shouldn’t be too surprised with what Rockfest has to offer. While several of the bands have performed in Kansas City in 2015, there are some nice surprises on the bill. With a strong line-up, Rockfest is sure to be another sellout, and break another attendance record as the largest one-day music festival in North America. (Bands in bold are bands that we’ve covered previously, with links to the coverage of the show, or festival)
Disturbed – With a new album dropping in late 2015, it’s really no surprise they’d be making the rounds to promote it.
Drowning Pool – They also have a new album out, and are likely eager to be hitting the road again.
Sevendust – Now that they’re calling Kansas city home, we’ll probably be seeing a lot more of them, and that isn’t a bad thing.
Escape the Fate
Red Sun Rising
