Suicide Girls Bring Blackheart Burlesque to Kansas City

Suicide Girls? Those models with the tattoos? Yes, those Suicide Girls. The beautiful women who have been the secret, and sometimes not-so-secret, pleasure of men all around the world since they came on the scene in 2001. Through the years, the brand has blown up across many platforms, well away from the printed page. One lesser known thing, in spite of heavy touring, is their acclaimed Blackheart Burlesque show. Geek is as hot as these girls now, and they embrace it.

Their two hour show includes many costume changes, and burlesque routines with characters from Star Trek, Rick and Morty, Star Wars, Adventure Time, and more. Of course, things wouldn’t be complete without audience participation, and the show is full of it, with interactive games and sketches, to a dance off with the audience. The show is high energy from start to finish, with many a promise of face sitting from Sunny Suicide. Does it really happen? You’ll just have to go to a show to find out for yourself. And those willing to spend a little extra coin will be able to meet the girls before the show. Sunny does show off her impressive singing, with a raunchy version of a Disney classic.

A celebration of all things geek, and beautiful, tattooed women teasing the audience? What’s not to love? To be clear though, this is not a strip show – it’s burlesque nudity is more implied. Though if the audience is lubricated enough, anything can happen, as did in Kansas City. Blue laws in Missouri prevented the show from being too provocative, but the performances from the girls were all immensely enjoyable.
