Julie Clark Announces Release Date of Dreamer

Los Angeles, CA – Classical pianist and Twitch streamer, Julie Clark has announced the release of her debut album, Dreamer. Filled with intricate, original compositions, the highly anticipated release is sure to receive a warm reception.

Known for her highly interactive music streams on Twitch, Julie has built a large online community affectionately known as the “Honey Fam,” with Julie herself being the Queen Bee. Julie has also started producing her own sold-out shows at LA’s world famous Hotel Cafe, called “Lighthouse Sessions”, showcasing lesser-known musical talent throughout the City.

On the release of Dreamer, Julie said:

It all started with ‘Sonder,’ a piece I wrote as I was moving to California after a broken engagement. Alone, lost, without a permanent home, and still letting go of the life I left behind, I composed Sonder while living in an Airbnb and trying to figure out a new direction for my life.

I spent the next two and a half years deciding what being an artist actually meant to me, and I feel like you can hear the journey through the album. It took a while to figure out what I wanted from that title… to figure out why my art mattered (if at all). I know a lot of artists say this, but truly, the knowledge that my music could connect with even a single person has meant the world. It’s given meaning to my music. It’s given me meaning.

And so I slowly began to write more. To trust myself more. When I shared my writing process on stream, I realized that there were lots of people who connected not only with my music, but with my journey as an artist and human. This sounds crazy, but besides Sonder, every song on the album was composed live on stream… which is honestly wild to me and so so beautiful. So I just want to say to those of you who have been here for this process, who have encouraged me, who have waited so patiently…from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Recorded in Orange County at Hear No Evil Studio, Dreamer features Eve, Moon, Undone, Summer, Dreamer, Soon, Sonder, and Hope, with Sonder having received over 100,000 streams on Spotify.

Though there are no lyrics, each song tells a story, and Julie takes her listeners through a complex musical landscape sure to delight, and find their own meaning, and stories through the sound. Julie’s music is very cinematic in nature, making it the perfect soundtrack for your day, whether you’re drinking coffee while watching the rain, or building a pivot table in Excel at the office.
