Crash Midnight: Rock is (Coming) Back

Crash Midnight vocalist, Shaun Soho, and lead guitarist, Alex Scott Donaldson at the Midland Theater in Kansas City

Six years after the release of the highly acclaimed Lost in the City, Crash Midnight surprised us with a preview of their new single, Killing Time. After being teased with posts about recording over the past few years, it started to look like they would do more than cover GNR, but outwait Chinese Democracy.

The track starts off packing a punch, with a killer riff from Alex, followed by strong vocals from Shaun Soho. Though they haven’t released much, it is still unmistakably Crash Midnight.

Originally based out of Boston, the band relocated to Las Vegas, where they quickly established themselves as a serious presence in the Entertainment Capital of the World, opening for such bands as L.A. Gunns, Steel Panther, and Buckcherry. For those who have seen them live, it is easy to see why.

Crash Midnight is in the same vein as other 80’s luminaries like Guns N’ Roses, and Aerosmith, while keeping a modern flare. Their sound is raw, powerful, and seamless. You feel a rumble in the distance, and then you see the freight train. That is Crash Midnight.

The new single will be released on March 5th, but is available no for pre-save on Spotify, and Apple Music here, but for now you can hear Lost in the City on Spotify.
