Celebrity guests and comic creators announced for Planet Comicon Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO (Nov. 26, 2018) – Planet Comicon Kansas City, the largest and longest-running comic book convention and pop culture event in the region, returns to Bartle Hall for its 20th anniversary March 29 – 31. To celebrate two decades of the pop culture extravaganza, Planet Comicon Kansas City announces discounted ticket packages and a few of the exciting comic creators and celebrity guests attending this year’s event. 

Planet Comicon Kansas City is proud to share the first-round of celebrity announcements including

James and Oliver Phelps, best known for playing Fred and George Weasley in “Harry Potter”, Bonnie Wright, best known for playing the role of Ginny Weasley in “Harry Potter”, and Tara Strong, best known for her voice work in numerous animations and video games. Dozens of celebrity guests will be on-site at Planet Comicon Kansas City in 2019 giving fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with their favorite stars.

In addition, hundreds of creators from the world of comics will be on-hand to greet their fans, sign autographs, offer exclusive collectibles and show off their incredible work. A few of the creators that comic book fans can look forward to seeing are Chris Claremont, the legendary comic book writer and novelist best known for his contributions to “X-Men”, Amanda Conner, comic book artist and commercial art illustrator best known for her work on “Harley Quinn”, and Jimmy Palmiotti, the multiaward-winning writer and comic artist.

Many more celebrity and comic guest announcements will follow over the coming months.
