Marshall Tucker Band – Crossroads KC

For a few weeks every summer, the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City comes alive with live music, in a concert venue in the backyard of one of the city’s best “diners drive-ins and dives” – Grinders. Owned and operated by a metal artist, the restaurant serves up some of the best pizzas, burgers and sandwiches in the city.

Almost to kick off First Friday,  The Marshall Tucker Band took the stage on July 5th, showing up (and drowning out) all the 20-somethings at curbside on their acoustic guitars. Going on 40 years now, The Marshall Tucker Band played a set full of all their hits, and the range of ages in the audience shows their music transcends generations.
