KAMELOT Premiere First Track & Lyric Video For “RavenLight”

KAMELOT are one of metal’s most unique, influential and prestigious acts that blends symphonic metal, prog, power metal and world music – so it comes as little surprise that the whole metal world is holding its breath in anticipation of of their upcoming album The Shadow Theory. The band has already unveiled the first info and details about the record and now they have just unleashed the first world premiere of the single and lyric video for the track “RavenLight”, which can be seen below. The follow-up to 2015’s Haven features all the signature elements of KAMELOT and also sees the band step out to add new and industrial elements along while combining amazing emotions that harken to the band’s earlier days. The group’s epic new music is chock full of symbolism relating to how the band feels about the world and the current state of civilization.

Thomas Youngblood comments on “RavenLight”: “The album offers many diverse songs, here is one of the mid-tempo tracks being offered as an IG for the fans, enjoy this one, more to come!!” The Shadow Theory was produced by acclaimed music producer Sascha Paeth and mastered by Jacob Hansen. Guests on the album include Lauren Hart (ONCE HUMAN), Jennifer Haben (BEYOND THE BLACK) and Sascha Paeth. The amazing cover and artwork was created by Stefan Heilemann. KAMELOT recently parted ways with longtime drummer Casey Grillo and has replaced him with Johan “Jo” NunezGrillo has been filling in for QUEENSRŸCHE drummer Scott Rockenfield since April 2017. Scott is taking time off from the band’s touring activities to spend time with his son, Rockson.

The Shadow Theory drops on April 6 on Napalm Records and you can reserve your copy here. Following the release of The Shadow Theory, KAMELOT will embark on a massive World Tour with label-mates DELAIN and BATTLEBEAST, starting in North America during April and May, followed by European festivals in Summer 2018.
